Indexing of similar pages
A single product or multiples sizes/colors etc for the same product can generate a lot of unique pages that the Google crawler may find and thereby create an index. This can make your site look like a content farm to Google.
You can solve this problem by adding a noindex tag on pages you don't want to be indexed for searches:

Link building is too complex of an issue to address here, but it is certainly something you should research and work on as part of your strategy.
